PROVERBALLY YOURS// MESSAGE & DELIVERY: Research into typography, Envelopes/Packaging/Existing work that inspired me:

Typographic elements:
Going along with the theme of "work hard" I decided to look at the type face design of the "Work in progress" sign seen on roads when undergoing work. I found that the type was san-serif where readability is key. I decided that this would work well for the project as this would work well with the colour scheme of black and yellow this gives off an industrial/working environment feel to the viewer.

FF DIN condensed - German roadway signage.

Envelope and net designs:

I then looked into the different styles of net design.
I found that some of the designs where quite boring and formal
so i decided to develop few i deas and created my own as shown on
my design practise blog

Existing Mailshots/ Inspirational work:

My main inspiration has come from a lot of editorial designs
as i am intrigued by how the layout of typographic elements can effect the hierarchy of a design
i have tried to apply what i have found to my final designs and developments.
Also the use of colour in this design would relate really well to my piece as yellow and black relates to a Working theme, also the contrast of the two colours also make legibility and readability more effective.

The use of blank space can give a design a very clean formal effect, this also calms the viewer as there are few elements to overpower them i will defiantly apply this to my designs through out development and my final designs.

Layout used for communication:
I have found through research that the use of left aligned type is most effective when trying to communicate a message as my designs have been inspired by modernist Graphic design i will use this method as my aim is "communication being key"

This design is just research on how info graphics can clearly be communicated within a poster design i have found that if the design is central this then the focal point of the design. this will work well in my opinion as my info graph will hold the majority of the data.
